15 Mantas are signed up and booked for a weekend dive trip to Beirut, Lebanon from June 3-5. We're diving with NISD dive center. 5 dives are planned on the wreck of the "Souffleur" submarine at 36 metres, the "Alive B" freighter (36m) and the "Macedonia" lying in 18 metres of water.

The Awards dinner is always lots of fun for everyone involved. Details will come out in September, but keep diaries free that night.

The club is organising a Quiz Night with authentic fish & chips. A good night had by all. Special thanks to our Events Coordinators, Lizzie Hall and Christine Newman.

12 of us had an excellent dive trip to Muscat diving the reefs and walls on the Damaniyat Islands, The Aquarium marine park and on the tug boat wreck at Fahal Island. We dived with Global Scuba and stayed at the Beach Hotel.

The next dive trip is planned for May or June 2010. Plans are not yet finalised but it will be exciting. Please contact Mike Dalton for further details or recommendations on where we should go.
