The Committee

The club has a constitution and is run by a committee which is elected each year at an annual general meeting. Any paid-up member can stand for election to the committee but, as a branch of the BS-AC, the positions of Chairman, Treasurer and Diving Officer are only open to BS-AC members. Training and Equipment Officers are appointed by the Diving Officer rather than elected. Each committee member has a particular area of responsibility in the club. The committee meets roughly once a month, usually on a Tuesday before the regular social meetings.
