Notes
1. This includes the local membership fee of 20 KD per year but we strongly recommend that members of BSAC arrange to pay their BSAC membership by direct debit if they have a UK bank account or by phone/fax to use a credit card. The 45 KD per year fee charged by the branch is set to allow for possible fluctuations in the exchange rate and does not allow for the reduced membership rate that is available to members with more advanced diving and instructor grades.
2. Abated membership is a reduced fee charged by BSAC for a second family member living at the same address as a fully paid up member. The abated member will not receive their own copy of Dive magazine but has all the other advantages of BSAC membership. The recommendations in Note 1 regarding payment of BSAC fees applies to abated members as well.
3. Club members can purchase, in advance, a book of 5 dive trip tickets for 30KD which can be used instead of paying cash on the day.
4. Members who have put their own cylinder in the "cylinder pool" do not need to pay for cylinders. However air is extra and members have the choice of paying 1KD for a filled tank or filling their own tanks using the club's compressor.
